Arts for Illinois Relief Fund

Matching Grant Opportunity:

The Community Foundation is partnering with the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund, the Arts Work Fund, Arts Alliance Illinois, and other community foundations around the state to provide unrestricted general operating support to arts organizations that are struggling with immediate lost revenue and non-recoverable expenses due to COVID-19. Collectively, we are accepting requests for funding from arts organizations in the following Illinois counties; Adams, Brown, Hancock and Pike County.

Our challenge is to raise $25,000 for our local arts organizations by July 30, 2020. If we meet this goal, Arts for Illinois will contribute $12,500 to create a pool of funds to provide desperately needed relief to maintain and preserve our vibrant arts community.

We’re asking for the communities help so that we can meet the challenge and bring these much-needed funds to our communities. Please help us rise to the challenge! Any amount you give will be increased by 50 percent through this match, and 100 percent of the funds will be used for grants to support the operations of community arts organizations.

If you choose to give, you may do so with a grant from your Donor Advised Fund, with a personal gift, or with a combination of the two. Any amount is sincerely appreciated by us and our arts organizations.
