In November 2013, Marilyn Riley established the James T. Riley Fund in honor of her husband, whom she married in 1960. While seeking a way to celebrate her husband’s impact, her brother-in-law and financial advisor recommended she speak with the Community Foundation. After taking their advice, the James T. Riley Fund was soon in place. The fund annually awards grants to Culver-Stockton College to provide scholarships to persons of promise from West Central Illinois or Northeast Missouri. Now, through the fund and the students it supports, James’ legacy lives on.
