Grants through the competitive grant program range from $500-$5,000. The grant workshops’ goals are to educate not-for-profit organizations on the Community Foundation’s annual competitive grant program and prepare them to submit an online application.

The two-hour sessions will be presented in two parts. Participants can attend one or both parts of the workshop. Part one, held the first hour of each workshop, will provide an overview of the 2020 competitive grant program, funds available, and a review of the grant criteria and timeline. Part one is designed for both new and returning grant applicants. Part two, held the second hour of each workshop, will provide in-depth information on completing the online application form and is designed for new applicants and those needing a refresher course on how to apply for Community Foundation grants.

Registration is encouraged, but not required, for the workshops. Please call the Community Foundation at 217-222-1237 or email hrichmond@mycommunityfoundation.org to register. When registering, please indicate if special accommodations or accessibility requirements are needed for the session you plan to attend.

To register for the online webinar, email hrichmond@mycommunityfoundation.org. A link and instructions on accessing the webinar will be provided to registered participants prior to the webinar.
